Today, at secondary comprehensive school No. 91, located on the street Varshavska, a student sprayed pepper spray in the corridor of the institution.
Children who went out for a break were inspired, as a result, doctors were called to them. At the St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital, seven children were given the necessary medical care and sent home, three children were hospitalized in the department of older childhood.
“Between the third and fourth lesson, a 10th grade student went out into the corridor and sprayed pepper spray, which he bought a few days before in a supermarket. When the children started going out for recess, they were inspired and started to go to the medical center. As of now, there are children who are in the hospital. We are currently working with this student, they have already called the mother, it seems that the child from the family is in difficult life circumstances. We will also carry out preventive measures to prevent such things in the future in all schools,” said Andrii Zakaliuk, head of the city’s education department.
As Marta Matyushko, head of the city’s health care department, explained, 10 children were sent to St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital.
Seven of them were given the necessary help and sent home for outpatient treatment. And three children were hospitalized in the older childhood department of the hospital, where doctors continue to provide them with the necessary therapy.
