A batch of car spare parts that were tried to be illegally imported into Ukraine were discovered by border guards together with customs officials at the Ukrainian-Polish border
Three cargo “Mercedes” were stopped for inspection at the checkpoint “Krakivets”. During the inspection, the truck drivers reported that they were moving ferrous metal products and spare parts that were made in China. At the initiative of operatives, the cars were sent for additional inspection.
Subsequently, the inspection group found more than 900 pieces of automobile spare parts marked with the Russian Federation.
A report was drawn up on this fact. The components of the car, with a total weight of 4 tons, were seized by customs officials. The cost of spare parts will be set additionally.
