Following a public prosecution by the Drohobych District Prosecutor’s Office, a 38-year-old man was found guilty of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

On that day, the men were drinking alcohol in their rented apartment. During the feast, a conflict arose between the friends, during which the defendant picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim several times in the neck and chest. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.
Until the verdict enters into force, the accused will be kept in custody.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Drohobych District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
