On September 8, a powerful explosion rang out in one of the schools in the city of Sambora. As a result of the blast wave, furniture was damaged and windows were broken.
According to preliminary information, an electric water heater that failed detonated. The latter was located in the canteen where the children of this educational institution eat.
According to the indicated fact, the Sambir district police department of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region entered information into the EDPR, registered a criminal proceeding regarding the violation of the requirements of fire or man-made safety established by law, provided for in part 1 of Article 270 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, primary investigative actions are being carried out, all the circumstances of the event are being established.
The children have been temporarily transferred to distance education.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Sambir district police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
