On the roads of Lviv and the region, police registered 497 accidents in which 479 pedestrians were injured and 48 were killed.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Police.
Attention pedestrians:
Follow the signals of the traffic controller or traffic lights at controlled intersections;
- Cross the carriageway on pedestrian crossings, including underground and above-ground crossings, and in the absence of them, at intersections along the lines of sidewalks or roadsides.
- In conditions of low visibility, use reflective elements (tape, sticker, vest, etc.) or wear light-coloured clothing;
- Before entering the carriageway, make sure there are no approaching vehicles.
To the attention of drivers:
- Follow the speed limits;
- Carefully monitor the situation on the road and do not be distracted from driving;
- Take into account the road situation and choose a safe driving mode.
