The court ordered the owners of two enterprises to pay over UAH 700,000 for illegal use of city land. This was reported in the city planning department of the LMR.
“In the first case, the Commercial Court of the Lviv Region fully satisfied the claims of the Lviv City Council and decided to collect UAH 305,933 from Global Logistics Ukraine LLC. This is the fee owed by the company to the community for the use of the land plot for 2019-2022.
As early as 2014, the city leased a plot of land to the mentioned limited liability company on the street. Polubotka – Manor with an area of 0.4700 hectares for the construction and maintenance of residential buildings. The lease was concluded for 10 years. For a long time, the landlord used the land properly – a whole residential complex appeared here. However, I forgot about the rent for some reason.
In the second case, the situation is similar. LLC “Ukr Euro Fasad” used a plot of land with an area of 0.15 hectares on the street P. Shafarika, 11 since 2018. But since March 2019, the rent has not been paid. Now, according to the decision of the same commercial court, the entrepreneur will return to the community not only the owed rent – 174 thousand 113 hryvnias. Taking into account inflationary losses, penalties and fines, the company will pay UAH 406,840 to the city budget.
It should be noted that none of the representatives of the mentioned limited liability companies appeared at the court session, although they were informed about them in advance. But this did not prevent the administration of justice,” the urban planning department informs.
By the way, the lawyers of the legal support department remind: in accordance with Art. 206 of the Land Code, the use of land in Ukraine is paid. And they once again call on the owners of real estate located on communal land not to delay and conclude land lease contracts on time.
