Traffic Accident in Sambir: Woman Injured Due to Car Collision
A traffic accident occurred in Sambir, resulting in a woman’s injury. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The traffic incident happened on March 14, around 19:30, on Shevchenko Street in Sambir.
Preliminarily, the law enforcement established that the driver of a Dacia Solenza, a 64-year-old resident of a village in the district, hit a pedestrian, a 50-year-old woman from the Sambir district.
As a result of the accident, the woman sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the Sambir District Police Department have opened a criminal proceeding under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
The police are determining the circumstances of the event.
