“Volkswagen” – the police are establishing the circumstances The traffic accident occurred on August 20 at 10:40 a.m. on the Mykolaiv-Zhovkva-Bibrka highway near the village of Zaluzhany, Lviv district.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, the Volkswagen Passat, driven by a 25-year-old resident of Horodka, and the MAN truck, driven by a 67-year-old resident of the district, collided. As a result of the collision, the driver of the passenger car died of his injuries at the scene, and his passenger, a 30-year-old resident of Horodok, was hospitalized. The truck driver was also taken to the hospital for examination.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
