In the morning, at 07:04, it was reported that a road accident had occurred near Zolochiv, with people trapped in one of the mangled cars.
As it turned out, the 63-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Passat and his 18-year-old passenger died at the scene of the accident from their injuries. The rescuers unblocked the bodies of the victims from the mangled car.
In order to prevent a fire, the rescuers also disconnected the batteries in the cars.
Five rescuers and one unit of special equipment were engaged to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident.
