In Lviv, the police informed about the suspicion of an intruder who sold “methadone”

In Lviv, the police reported that a man from Lviv, who sold drugs in his own apartment, faces up to ten years in prison.

As the investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 established, a previously convicted 34-year-old man from Lviv illegally purchased, stored and repeatedly sold the narcotic drug “methadone” in his own apartment on Volodymyr Veliky Street.

According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office, opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of six to ten years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
