His acquaintance, who fatally stabbed him, was involved in the murder of a 60-year-old man from Lviv
On September 10, the police received a report that the body of a man without signs of life was found in one of the apartments on Chornovola Avenue in Lviv.
The investigation and operational group and employees of other services of police department No. 1 of Lviv district police department No. 1 were involved in solving the crime. Law enforcement officers identified the deceased as a 60-year-old man from Lviv. It was also established that a 48-year-old woman from Lviv, who was visiting the deceased, was involved in the crime. Around 10:00 p.m., a conflict arose between her and her husband while drinking alcoholic beverages, during which she stabbed the victim in the back, causing him a fatal wound.
According to the fact, the investigators of the territorial unit of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Galicia District Prosecutor’s Office, opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 (Intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of seven to fifteen years.
