Under the procedural leadership of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the citizen of Ukraine was informed of the suspicion. She is accused of committing deliberate actions aimed at inciting national enmity and justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorifying its participants (part 1 of article 161, part 2, 3 of article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, since June 2022, through her own account on the banned social network Vkontakte, the Lviv woman has been distributing posts in which she publicly justified the crimes of the occupiers.
The woman repeatedly posted materials where she spoke negatively about the Ukrainian military. In particular, she called them “inhumans” and accused them of torturing and killing defenseless people.
Also, the latter leveled the identity of the Ukrainian nation in its publications. She treated the Ukrainian language with disdain and contempt, calling it “Hryukoma” and Ukrainians – pigs.
In addition, in her posts, the suspect highlighted the Russian Federation as a great country, whose victory will be celebrated with “the grandest parade.”
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
