In Lviv, water took the life of a 37-year-old man: reservoirs in the region continue to be checked

According to the decision of the regional commission of TEB and emergency services in the Lviv region, until June 15, water objects will be checked for readiness for the opening of the season.

The night before, on June 14, the rescuers received a message that in Lviv on the street Volodymyr the Great, a man born in 1986 fell into the reservoir. Rescuers immediately began searching for the man.

At 8:20 p.m., workers of the Lviv Central Rescue and Diving Service saw a body without signs of violent death, pulled it ashore and handed it over to the police. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.

We would like to remind you that the inspection of water bodies is ongoing in the region for the safe opening of the summer season. Preparation of water facilities in the region began back in March. Local self-government bodies have defined a preliminary list of recreation places on water bodies, created commissions and started checks for compliance with documents.

As a result, the list of places for mass recreation of the population at such facilities was submitted for approval by the commission. The list includes 23 objects on 18 reservoirs.
