Since the introduction of martial law, more than 1,900 documents with signs of forgery have been found at checkpoints in Lviv Oblast

Most often, border control inspectors detected signs of forgery in such documents as: a certificate from the military medical commission, a temporary certificate of a conscript, a pension certificate, a child’s birth certificate, a death certificate, etc. Also, in foreign passports, document verification teams revealed invalid notes about permanent registration or permanent residence abroad.

In general, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the state border guards in Lviv region have detained more than 1,900 violators who tried to leave Ukraine using “false” documents.

The border guards informed the employees of the National Police about all the facts of the use of fakes.
