Mykola Mysak, the 64-year-old deputy mayor of Chervonograd, was found guilty of bribery on Thursday, July 13. The detention was carried out by employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police. This was reported by Oleksandr Klimov, the head of the NGO “Road Control Zahid”. The information about the detention of Mykola Mysak was confirmed to ZAXID.NET by the mayor of Chervonograd Andriy Zalivskyi.

“I was at the funeral of a military man and just returned to the city council. I have no information. I called the deputy of the Security Service, the prosecutor. Currently, nothing is known. I know that the episode with the detention took place, there were police officers in the city council and they talked to him [Mykola Mysak], but I was at the funeral and I cannot communicate what happened and how, under what circumstances. The leadership of the Security Service told me that they would tell me tomorrow how I should act. No further information was provided. I’m waiting,” Andriy Zalivskyi told Zahid.net.

Later, Oleksandr Klimov reported that Volodymyr Rybak, director of Komunalnyk KP, was also detained in connection with the same case
