The Sambir district prosecutor’s office ensured the real implementation of the court decision – about 5 million hryvnias were collected from the contracting organization.
Prosecutors proved in court that the construction company violated the terms of the contract for the reconstruction of sewage treatment facilities in the city of Turka.
It was established that the company overestimated the cost and volume of the works performed, in particular, some of them were not performed at all.
In this way, the company illegally appropriated funds from the state budget.
Thanks to the persistent position of the prosecutor’s office and the measures taken, the above-mentioned damage was charged to the state budget in full.
