Zolochiv Manager Faces Trial for Environmental Land Pollution with Animal Remains

In the Zolochiv district of Lviv region, a trial is set to take place against the deputy director of a private enterprise for serious violations of environmental standards. According to the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv region, the offender is accused of polluting agricultural lands with improperly disposed animal remains.

Suspicions arose after discovering violations during regular inspections. Incidents of unauthorized disposal were occurring near a forest area, posing a threat to local flora and fauna and causing serious environmental pollution.

The investigation of this case was conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region with the support of the Strategic Investigations Department. The court will determine the individual’s guilt, adhering to the presumption of innocence principle, as stated in the Constitution of Ukraine.
