This will be done within the framework of the project “Development of the Trans-European transport network (Ukraine – road corridors)” between Ukraine and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
This was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
“Experts from the EBRD have already conducted a road safety audit, an analysis of the economic feasibility of investments, an environmental and social assessment of the project and decided to direct part of the funds to the capital repair of a part of the M-09 road. The Ternopil – Lviv – Rava-Ruska road connects Lviv with Warsaw and is part of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T),” the head of Lviv Oblast noted.
The highway Ternopil – Lviv – Rava-Ruska, km 129+807 – km 191+877 was included as a component of the Credit Agreement with the EBRD. €182 million was reallocated for implementation. The capital repair project will be implemented by the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
We will remind you that back in 2020, Ukraine and the EBRD signed the Credit Agreement “Development of the Trans-European Transport Network (Ukraine – Road Corridors)”, but due to the start of a full-scale war, the implementation of the project was suspended in the planned volumes.
