Danish Refugee Council in Lviv Oblast launches new support programme for businesses and entrepreneurs

The Danish Refugee Council is offering a new grant programme to support entrepreneurs in Drohobych and Stryi districts. The aim is to support the creation of new businesses, additional jobs and improve employment opportunities for both internally displaced persons and local residents.

Under this programme, you can receive a grant of up to €5000. The application for a grant must be submitted by 5 July.

Who can get help?

The programme is available only in Drohobych and Stryi districts of Lviv region. Applications from current and future entrepreneurs who plan to start their own business and have a clear business idea are supported.

The priority is given to enterprises and individual entrepreneurs who have experienced the negative effects of the war and sell or produce goods or provide services to meet the basic needs of the population.

The grant can be used to cover a variety of expenses:

– purchase of equipment
-payment of rent for premises
-restoration of previously operating business
-other urgent business needs

Terms of participation:

– Fill in the application form: https://ee-eu.kobotoolbox.org/x/SgRaTlHo- The DRC team will review the applications and select individuals who meet the programme criteria.
– The successful applicants will be invited to sign a business grant agreement with the DRC.
– Within the established deadlines, you will be required to submit a report on how the funds received were used for the purposes specified in the programme and the relevant agreement.
