Dear residents of the community, work is currently underway on the development of the Lviv Agglomeration Development Strategy, which may include Lviv and 17 neighboring communities that have close ties to Lviv.
Agglomeration is a form of cooperation of independent communities common in Europe, which join forces to solve common problems in one or another area or use common resources and potentials for development.
To take into account the opinions of the residents of the communities of the potential agglomeration, we are conducting a public collection of ideas for joint projects that will contribute to the development of the communities of the Lviv agglomeration. We are talking about projects that can be implemented by two, several or even all communities of the agglomeration, in particular with the participation of the Lviv community.
There are already examples of such projects, when communities jointly maintain medical or social institutions, jointly purchase equipment for the provision of communal services, implement tourism projects, etc. All proposals will be analyzed for possible use in the Strategy project and further funding.
