Almost 3,000 unemployed people engaged in community service in Lviv Oblast

Since January this year, more than 2.7 thousand unemployed people, including internally displaced persons, have been engaged in community service in Lviv region as part of the government’s Recovery Army project, with UAH 30.3 million allocated to pay their salaries.

The most active community service activities were carried out in Lviv and Drohobych communities. The types of work performed by the unemployed in Lviv region were dominated by Helping victims of hostilities, unloading, packing and delivering humanitarian aid, performing work for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, collecting firewood for the heating season, providing social services to the most vulnerable groups of the population (IDPs, people with disabilities, children, the elderly, the sick, veterans, etc.

We would like to remind you that fixed-term employment contracts are concluded with persons wishing to participate in socially useful work. Payment is made in accordance with the time worked in the amount of more than UAH 10.0 thousand in case of full-time work. This period is included in the insurance period.
