In connection with Ukraine’s transition to a new waste classification procedure, which will be carried out in accordance with the National List of Waste, the Ministry of the Environment has prepared a table with the approximate ratio of waste codes DK 005-96 and the project of the National List of Waste https://cutt.ly/YwojQR7m
As noted by T.V.O. the director of the department, Oksana Viytyk, for the reporting of business entities in the field of waste management, the developed resource will enable enterprises to quickly find and determine the specific type of waste that was generated in the course of their economic activity.
Please note that as of today, the project of the Government’s decision “On approval of the Waste Classification Procedure and the National List of Waste” developed by the Ministry of Environment is at the stage of preparation for submission to the Government. Approval of this Order unifies waste codes in accordance with EU requirements.
According to the Ministry of Environment, methodological recommendations for the application of these documents will be published after the approval of the Waste Classification Procedure and the National List of Waste.
