The business plans of 13 applicants from the Lviv Region will receive funds for starting or developing entrepreneurial activities.
According to the government program “Grant for veterans and their family members”, 13 applicants from Lviv Oblast, whose business plans were considered by the commission of the Lviv Regional Employment Center, received a positive decision to provide funds for starting or developing entrepreneurial activities.
The program started in April this year. So what kind of business will combatants (their wives or husbands) invest grant funds in?
In Stryi, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war is engaged in the production of presentable corporate clothing. He will purchase a DRF printer for overlaying drawings, inscriptions or logos on T-shirts, sweatshirts and other textile products. His compatriot from Slavsko will decorate the pizzeria’s summer terrace. An inflatable slide will appear in Drohobych for entertainment lovers, and new exercise machines will be installed in one of the fitness centers in Zolochiv. A “Little Bakery” will be opened in Sambor, the owner of which will purchase the necessary equipment: a combi steamer, a coffee and dough mixer, a storage cabinet, etc.
In Lviv, one of the winners of the program will be able to purchase a device for carrying out procedures of the “Lux” class for the care and rejuvenation of the skin of the face, the second – a sewing machine, a steam generator, an overlock, fabric for sewing textile products. The other two will have vehicles: a truck and a cargo-passenger minibus. And the participant of the program engaged in medical practice, in addition to medical equipment, will purchase furniture for the comfortable living of clients and their self-service in the kitchen.
The application for participation in the program can be submitted online until November 19 through the Diya portal (https://is.gd/KT7RoW). Funds for starting or developing their own business are provided to veterans or their family members in the amount of UAH 250,000 to UAH 1 million. They can be used to purchase equipment, raw materials, materials, rent premises and vehicles, purchase licensed software, pay for marketing and advertising services, etc.
