“U-LEAD with Europe” announced the launch of a new initiative, which is designed to help territorial communities establish cooperation among themselves by creating joint communal enterprises. Communities of Lviv Oblast can take part in the competition and receive appropriate expert support.
As informed by the regional office of U-LEAD in Lviv region, the Experience Sharing Network (Support Program) “Creation of Joint Utility Enterprises” is an opportunity to go through the entire process of creating a joint utility enterprise, starting from the discussion of the initiative, the development of joint founding documents, as well as modeling financial plans of joint KPs in order to ensure their efficient operation and profitability.
The program will help you find answers to the following questions and more:
What is the legal basis for creating a joint utility company?
How to develop the Charter for a joint utility company and how to determine the management body of this company?
How to develop an effective financial plan for the activity of a utility company?
What are the relationships between the joint utility company, the founders, and the governing body?
Within the framework of the Support Program, participants will learn how to create a joint utility enterprise for the development of their communities. As part of the training, they will familiarize themselves with the legislative features of this process and develop the skills to develop constitutive documents for the creation of joint utility companies.
At all stages of the creation of a joint utility company, the participants of the initiative will receive consulting assistance from U-LEAD experts and will have the opportunity to establish cooperation with colleagues from other regions of Ukraine.
Up to 10 teams of partner communities intending to create a joint communal enterprise in the field of community development will be selected to participate in the Experience Sharing Network (Support Program) “Creation of Joint Communal Enterprises”. Each partner community delegates 1 participant to the team.
To participate in the selection, it is necessary to fill out an application and send it to the email address: regops.u-lead@giz.de by 18:00 on August 18, 2023, with “Joint KP_Development_Name of community_Region” in the subject of the message.
The activities of the Experience Sharing Network “Creation of Joint Utility Enterprises” will begin on September 1, 2023.
