The communities of Lviv Region are calling for vacant agricultural plots to be put up for land auctions

This process has already resumed on the “Prozorro.Prodazhi” website.

Since November 20, land auctions for the acquisition of the right to lease agricultural plots of land, as regulated by the Law of Ukraine, have been resumed in Ukraine.

“I call on the communities of the Lviv region to intensify work in this direction, to identify vacant land plots in entrusted territories, to form such land plots into lots and put them up for auction. After all, the cost of rent from the sale of lease rights for agricultural land plots is the filling of local budgets. The activity of communities in the matter of renting through electronic land auctions should be no less than the transfer of land according to the simplified procedure that was in effect from the beginning of martial law until November 20”, – emphasized the director of the department of agro-industrial development of Lviv OVA Tetyana Hetman.

It should be noted that during the period of martial law, land auctions were canceled in Ukraine, and communal agricultural land was leased only on the basis of a decision of the local government and the conclusion of an electronic land lease agreement for a period of up to 1 year. In general, according to this simplified procedure, communities of the Lviv Region transferred 3,829 plots of land with an area of 15,700 ha.

According to the information of the APR department of the Lviv OVA, the communities most active in concluding lease agreements were the communities of Sambir, Chervonograd, and Stryi districts, which in total transferred more than 10,000 hectares of land to agricultural formations of the Lviv region during the war.

More detailed information on the involvement of land in agricultural turnover was given in the digest: “Transfer of agricultural land for lease by territorial communities of Lviv Oblast in wartime.”
