How to get help for people who were forced to leave their homes in Lviv Oblast: clarification

Financial support received by IDPs is 2 and 3 thousand hryvnias.

Internally displaced persons living in Lviv Oblast can receive financial support. For persons with disabilities and children – 3 thousand hryvnias, for other persons – 2 thousand. Assistance is paid after a person has submitted an application to the Unified Information Database on IDPs.

How to do it:

First, a person must obtain a certificate of an internally displaced person. To do this, she should contact the structural unit for social protection of the population. In particular, to the authorized persons of village, settlement and city councils and the Central Committee of the People’s Republic of Ukraine. You can also apply for a document through the Diya portal.

An adult and a minor submits a request in person, and a minor child submits a request through a legal representative – a guardian appointed for disabled persons, the head of a social protection institution, an authorized person of a guardianship and guardianship body.

The applicant must present one of the following documents:

an identity document confirming Ukrainian citizenship;
a document certifying a person and confirming his special status;

In order to receive assistance, an IDP fills out an application, which is created by means of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services. An application for providing housing assistance to IDPs can also be submitted to the structural unit for social protection of the population of the village, settlement, city council or the center for the provision of administrative services.

Information for filling out the application:

surname, first name, patronymic (if available) of the applicant;
registration number of the taxpayer’s account card;
date of birth;
information about the declared/registered place of residence on the territory of the administrative-territorial unit from where the person moved;
the address of the place where the person moved and the contact phone number;
number of a current account with a special mode of use for enrolling the “eSupport” benefit or the bank account number (according to the IBAN standard) of the applicant for the payment of the benefit;
having the status of a person with a disability;
information about minor children who moved together with an internally displaced person (information about a minor child is included in the application of one of the parents).

In addition, internally displaced persons can receive not only financial, but also humanitarian, psychological and legal assistance in advisory and coordination centers. On the initiative of the Lviv OVA, they work in all districts of the region.
