“eRobota”: more than 1,600 jobs will be created in Lviv region and 180 million hryvnias will be used

Another 47 positive conclusions and 96 new jobs – these are the results for the Lviv Oblast that concluded the examination of the applications of the participants of the 16th wave of the YeRobota program.

In particular, 32 natural persons-entrepreneurs, 7 legal entities and 8 beginners, who are just starting out in the field of entrepreneurship, won the right to a micro-grant in the amount of up to UAH 250,000 for business scaling.

As in previous times, the majority of applicants from our region are engaged in wholesale or retail trade, repair of motor vehicles (16 people), work in the field of health care (8) or in the field of temporary accommodation and catering (7). The rest develop business in the processing industry, the field of education, provide other types of services or conduct professional, scientific, technical activities.

Among those who only intend to open their own business, 5 residents of Lviv. According to the submitted business plans, they will provide hairdressing services, sell flowers, sell goods through the Internet, process and preserve fruits and vegetables, as well as restaurant business. In Truskavka (Drohobytskyi district), the beginner will open a dental office, in Chervonohrad – a restaurant, and in Brody (Zolochivskyi district) he will conduct trade in non-specialized stores.

In total, this year, thanks to participation in the YeRobota program, 760 applicants from Lviv Oblast pledged to create 1,608 new jobs and acquire more than UAH 180 million.

3 participants of the “Grant for veterans and their family members” program also received a positive decision to provide funds for scaling up entrepreneurial activity in the 16th wave. As of October 10, 19 residents of the region took advantage of the government project to support veteran businesses.
