Lviv Oblast is in the top five according to the Digital Transformation Index

Its purpose is to create a basis for researching the level of digital transformation in regional administrations.

Oleksandr Kulepin, Deputy Head of Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization (CDTO) of the Lviv OVA reported this.

The results of the 2022 study show that the Index within Ukraine is 0.651 points out of 1 possible. In Lviv Oblast – 0.799.

“At the same time, Lviv region is in the TOP 5 in almost all indicators, which on the one hand speaks of balanced work in all directions, and at the same time leaves potential for improving results in every direction. The greatest potential is in the education sector, where we have to speed up work on attracting population to develop digital skills, as well as use all opportunities to introduce e-journals in educational institutions,” Oleksandr Kulepin said.

The index of digital transformation of the regions of Ukraine was developed by the regional digitization team of the Ministry of Digital. In general, the Index covers 8 main blocks in the field of digital transformation: institutional capacity of OVA, access to the Internet, development of TsNAPs, “paperless” regime, digital education, business card of the region, penetration of basic electronic services, sectoral digital transformation.
