Lviv Oblast receives additional subsidy
The Lviv region received UAH 2.9 million in additional subsidies from the state budget reserve fund as compensation to budgetary institutions for the free accommodation of internally displaced persons in communal property in September 2023 and July this year. This was announced by Ivan Sobko, deputy head of the regional state administration.
Out of the funds received, UAH 1.5 million was transferred to the budgets of the region’s communities. Another UAH 1.4 million was allocated to reimburse the costs of regional institutions, namely
- social protection – UAH 863.7 thousand
- education – UAH 467.6 thousand;
- healthcare – UAH 54 thousand.
Ivan Sobko also noted that work in this area is ongoing: consolidated registers have already been prepared and information has been provided to the Ministry of Reintegration to receive compensation for August 2024. The amount of compensation is expected to exceed UAH 2.7 million.
