Максим Козицький назвав проєкти у галузі медицини, які втілюватимуть в області цьогоріч

This year, three major medical projects are planned to be implemented in the Lviv Region.

The priority projects that will be implemented in the Lviv region together with sponsors are the development of the Superhumans Center, the renovation of the regional psychiatric hospital, and the development of the field of motherhood and childhood.

“This year, we set ourselves the goal of implementing three priority projects with sponsors: this is, of course, the Superhumans Center – on the basis of one of the hospitals in the Lviv region, we are creating a modern plastic surgery center for all those who suffered as a result of the war. This project is under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine. The center will include, in addition to plastic surgery services, reconstructive surgery, prosthetics and providing psychological support. This project will be partially completed this year (the first stage)”, said Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, on the air of the First Western TV channel.

The second project, in the field of mental health, is implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the World Bank.

“This year, we will devote considerable attention to the development of the field of mental health. Thanks to Viktor Lyashko and the Ministry of Health, we plan to attract funds from the World Bank to repair the departments of the psychiatric hospital so that it can provide services in comfortable conditions,” explained Maksym Kozytskyi.

In addition, the head of the Lviv Region announced that they plan to create a modern medical center on the basis of the Lviv Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital “OKHMATDYT” and the Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center. This is the third large-scale project that will be implemented in the region this year.

Also, according to Maksym Kozytskyi, among other priorities for 2023 is the development of regional institutions that can accommodate forced migrants and particularly vulnerable categories of the population. Social institutions of the region will continue to be repaired in order to create decent living conditions for them.
