As part of the implementation of the government project “eRobota”, since February of this year, applications for micro-grants for the creation or development of their own business have been accepted again.
“Thanks to this program, which started in July last year, more than UAH 100 million will be spent and 1,045 new jobs will be created in Lviv Oblast,” said Vasyl Barilyuk, director of the Lviv Regional Employment Center. According to him, in 2022, as a result of the implementation of the government initiative, 433 participants, whose documents were considered by the commission of the LOCZ, received a positive decision to finance their own business ideas at the expense of micro-grants. The average amount of payment was UAH 234.7 thousand.
This year, certain changes have been made to the “eRobota” program. In particular, funds will be paid to the participants of the program from the Fund of the mandatory state social insurance of Ukraine in case of unemployment. Microgrants for which a positive decision was made in 2022 will be financed from the state budget fund.
The right to financial support is available to both entrepreneurs who are already running a business and those who intend to open their own business. To receive funds, you need to submit an application and a developed business plan through the Diya portal. After checking the submitted documents, evaluating the business plan, as well as the applicant’s business reputation, he must undergo an interview with the members of the commission of the Lviv OTC. The decision to grant a grant is made at the State Employment Center.
The main condition for receiving micro-grants is the creation of at least one new workplace. State funds are provided to cover the following areas of expenditure:
– the purchase of furniture, equipment (except vehicles) necessary for the conduct of economic activity by the recipient, which is not subject to alienation until the fulfillment of the terms of the contract on the provision of a micro-grant for the creation or development of one’s own business (except in cases of alienation due to foreclosure by an authorized bank in accordance with the pledge agreement );
– the purchase of licensed software, domestic animals and poultry, perennial plants, seedlings, seed material, raw materials, materials, goods and services related to the implementation of the business plan (such costs should total up to 50 percent of the amount of the micro-grant);
– marketing and advertising services (no more than 10 percent of the amount of the micro-grant);
– rent for non-residential premises (up to 25 percent of the amount of the micro-grant);
– rent for equipment (no more than 10 percent of the amount of the micro-grant);
– leasing of equipment, except for cars, motorcycles and other vehicles for personal use (up to 50 percent of the total amount of the micro-grant);
– use of the rights of other business entities in business activities (commercial concession).
