Women entrepreneurs in the craft industry in the Lviv Oblast can attract a grant of up to UAH 150 thousand

Women entrepreneurs in craft production can attract a grant of up to UAH 150 thousand from the Women’s Opportunities in Ukraine Charitable Foundation

Applications are accepted until 18 October.

The Women’s Opportunities in Ukraine Charitable Foundation has launched an all-Ukrainian competition for women entrepreneurs engaged in the production of craft products. Its goal is to support women who create unique products using proprietary technologies and environmentally friendly materials and raw materials. The grant programme is designed to help entrepreneurs expand production and bring their products to new markets.

Eligibility criteria:

– Women living on the territory of Ukraine, except for the temporarily occupied territories.

– Officially registered individual entrepreneurs with an operating business in the field of craft production.

– No debts to the budget and no business ties with Russia.

The size of the mini-grants will be UAH 50,000, 100,000 and 150,000, depending on the scale of production, business idea and the applicant’s request. Applications will be divided into three categories:

Category 1 – up to UAH 50,000 (0-1 employees, net profit for the year – up to UAH thousand).

Category 2 – up to UAH 100,000 (2 to 5 employees, net profit from UAH 200 thousand to UAH 3 million).

Category 3 – up to UAH 150,000 (more than 5 employees, net profit – more than UAH 3 million).

Grant funds can be spent on equipment, raw materials, and marketing services.

Applications are accepted until 18 October 2024.

“This competition is a great opportunity for women entrepreneurs not only to receive financial support, but also to implement their creative business ideas. This will help strengthen local businesses, create new jobs, and promote Ukrainian craft products internationally,” said Liudmyla Honcharenko, Acting Director of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
