In January-April this year, taxpayers in the manufacturing industry and trade of the Lviv region contributed 1.5 and 1.3 billion UAH in individual income tax to the budget.
“These two sectors are the largest ‘suppliers’ of the region’s tax,” stated the director of the Finance Department of the Regional State Administration, Oleh Demkiv.
The combined share of these sectors in total individual income tax receipts is 31%. Compared to the same period last year, this share increased by 2 percentage points.
In terms of the dynamics of paid amounts compared to January-April 2024, the leader remains the ‘Information and Telecommunications’ sector with growth of 61%. Taxpayers in the mining industry are not far behind, with a growth of 55%. Tax payments by the ‘Construction’ sector increased by 44%, by the ‘Trade’ sector by 40%, and by the ‘Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries’ sector by 35%. Overall, individual income tax revenues in the region increased by 27%.
