European company to manufacture 40 MW wind turbines for Sokalska wind farm

Hamburg, December 12, 2024. The Nordex Group has received an order from Ukraine’s Eco-Optima for wind turbines with a total capacity of 40 MW.

The order includes seven N163/5.X turbines to be installed with tailored logistics and installation conditions. The contract also covers the maintenance of the equipment.

The turbines will be installed at the Sokal Wind Farm, located north of Lviv. They will be mounted on 118-meter steel towers and operate with a nominal capacity of 5.7 MW.
