Thanks to the UNDP and the financial assistance of the Government of Japan, within the framework of the project “Promoting the safety of Ukrainian citizens in response to the crisis caused by the war”, Lviv OVA received portable power sources.
Today, April 3, Deputy Chief of Lviv Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Kulepin together with the regional coordinator of the UN Development Program in Lviv Region Igor Nazar handed over the first 40 Yeti 500X portable charging stations to territorial communities of Lviv District.
“We are glad that we were able to receive such a large number of portable charging stations, which will be provided to all territorial communities of Lviv Oblast. Potentially, they can be used in TsNAPs and other social institutions of the region. Communities will be able to use them at their discretion for convenience in times of power outages. UNDP is extremely active in helping us this year, for which we are very grateful and will be happy to expand our partnership,” Oleksandr Kulepin noted.
As Ihor Nazar reported, thanks to the implementation of the project, Lviv OVA received 160 portable power sources, which will be used for the needs of all territorial communities of the region, district state administrations and structural divisions of OVA.
“With the support of the Government of Japan, we managed to hand over one and a half hundred charging stations to the communities of Lviv Oblast. They will provide uninterrupted power supply at the most critical moments so that each of the seven dozen communities can stay connected. I am happy to hand over the first part of the stations for the Lviv district today. Our program works in Lviv Oblast with various projects to which we willingly invite territorial communities of the region to join,” the regional coordinator summarized.
