Compared to January-June last year, the export of goods in the Lviv region increased by 7.6% and amounted to 1,417.6 million US dollars.
The Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional Government informs with reference to the Main Department of Statistics in the Lviv Region.
Imports to the region increased by 9% and amounted to 2,280.1 million US dollars.
The export-import coverage ratio was 0.62 (0.63 in January-June 2021).
Thus, enterprises of the region carried out foreign trade operations with partners from 154 countries of the world.
Among the goods that Lviv Oblast exported in January-June 2022, electrotechnical equipment prevailed (20.0% of the volume of exports of the region), wood and wood products (13.1%), furniture (13.0%), mineral fuels, petroleum and products of its distillation (10.3%), fats and oils (9.4%).
Mineral fuels, oil and its distillation products (30.6% of the region’s imports), electrical equipment (7.7%) were the basis of the import of goods.
