On September 9, a Youth Space was opened at the People’s House in Chervonograd, Lviv region, with the support of foreign benefactors.
In a room with an area of 400 square meters. they equipped a kitchen with the necessary equipment and accessories, a room for active recreation, a bedroom for 4 people, bathrooms and showers, put 30 folding beds so that youth creative teams from other regions and countries could stay overnight. The foyer was also renovated.
As told in the People’s House, the first repair works began on May 22.
The German charity “Merkle Foundation” and the head of the Foundation Kristen Merkle and the head of the foundation’s representative office in Ukraine Halyna Tomkiv helped to create the Youth Space – in particular, the foundation financially supported the creation of the center. The Maltese Aid Service provided 30 folding beds.
The idea of creating the Youth Space appeared after the folk vocal studio of the People’s House of Chervonograd “Chervona Ruta” repeatedly visited the German city of Koswig with concerts, where they stayed at the local youth center. By the way, it was possible to collect part of the funds for the creation of such a center in Chervonograd thanks to the performances of the vocal studio abroad.
“The youth of Chervonograd deserve to have a place where they can relax, feel their childhood and youth! After all, how talented she is! How much we have achieved and are achieving thanks to the youth of Chervonograd! We win competitions, festivals, we weave nets, collect for the needs of the Armed Forces, we bought a truck and a drone!!! And it’s all thanks to our children! Because from the first days of the war, they are our youth on the artistic front of our city!
