“Some information channels reported about explosions in our region – this is a lie. I emphasize once again: for the sake of your peace and safety, take care of information hygiene. Follow and trust only official sources of information. I promptly report all the most important things about the situation in Lviv Oblast in my social networks”, – emphasized the head of the Lviv Oblast, Maksym Kozytskyi.

In the village of Dovhe in Drohobych region, a memorial sign was opened – Fighters for the freedom of Ukraine. The fallen Heroes who are from the Medenytsia community were honored: Roman Boyk, Dmytro Bobyak, Taras Zozula, Igor Ilchyshyn and Ivan Yuzefovych. A solemn march was held in Sokal for Heroes’ Day, which will be celebrated tomorrow. Groups of schools from the Sokal region marched in a column through the city.

Three fire engines were received by the Brodiv community from the Swiss city of Bern. The machines are all-wheel drive, equipped with modern equipment. In particular, they have tanks for water and foam, their own generator, equipment for working in smoky rooms, retractable lights to improve visibility at the scene of an emergency in the dark.

“This is reinforcement for the rescuers of Brodivshchyna. The resources that will be released thanks to this assistance will be directed to the needs of our defenders. Firefighters received it after the visit of Swiss citizen Angela Perucchi to Kozaky’s farm in Stanislavchytsky Starostyn District. The woman came to Ukraine as a tourist and returned as a volunteer. She was so fascinated by our country and people that she started studying the Ukrainian language. After returning home, she turned to her friends in Switzerland, so the fire department of the city of Bern agreed to donate cars to the Brodiv community,” the head of the region said.
