On July 6, 2023, the Western Interregional Territorial Branch of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine opened a case on the grounds of violations of the legislation on the protection of economic competition by the limited liability company “Fresh Trade Company” and the individual entrepreneur O. L. Sheger.
During the implementation of state control measures to create a competitive environment and protect competition in the field of public procurement, the Department established that “Fresh Trade Company” LLC and FOP Shegera O.L. participated in several procedures for the purchase of diesel generator stations, which were announced as the Lviv Municipal “Zaliznychnoteploenergo” and Lviv municipal utility company “Lvivvodokanal” (Lviv region) in November 2022.
During the preliminary investigation of the circumstances of the purchase, Zahidne MTV discovered facts that may indicate concerted behavior of the specified participants. In view of this, the Department initiated the case.
