The Skoliv and Dobrotvir communities have approved development strategies

Skolivsk and Dobrotvirsk communities this week officially approved development strategy projects developed with the support of LOVA, USAID “HOVERL” and IRD named after Dolishnyi National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The communities, which differ in their potential and territorial type, defined their vision of development for the long term, and also formed the first plans for the implementation of strategic goals.

In particular, the vision of the future of the Skoliv community is a modern cohesive community with an ecologically clean territory, comfortable and safe for doing business and living, hospitable for connoisseurs of active and passive recreation, a tourist pearl of the Carpathians. A community of energy workers, which preserves unique cultural assets and promotes the comprehensive development of the individual, and also welcomes every new resident.

By the way, draft Community Development Strategies and Action Plans for them in Belzka, Rava-Ruska and Dobrosynska-Magerivska communities are already awaiting approval by local council sessions. There, expert work has already been completed and public discussions have been held.

“We don’t stop there! After all, our dream is that each community of Lviv Oblast has its own unique and high-quality development strategy, and after the approval of the strategies, actively works on economic development and improving the quality of life of residents! So, there is still a lot of work to be done, but together we will definitely manage it!” – emphasizes the economic policy department of LOVA.
