Today, April 3, the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi met with representatives of the delegation from the Czech city of Khomutov.
The meeting was attended by the first deputy mayor of Chomutov, Milan Merts, the general director of the STRIX Chomutov a.s. construction company. Dushan Dufka, a representative of the Czech School of Energy “ESOZ”, as well as a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council Oleg Duda.
During the meeting, the representatives of the parties discussed the possibility of practical training and internship for students of the third year of a specialized specialty of the Novorozdilskyi Polytechnic Vocational College in the educational institutions of the city of Khomutov, Czech Republic, obtaining a competitive professional education, so that after the victory they could work qualitatively on the restoration of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine in accordance with the highest international standards .
Representatives of the ESOZ school and the Novorozdil Polytechnic Vocational College plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation, and are also considering the possibility of creating a training center for Ukrainian energy workers on the basis of the Novorozdil Vocational College.
Dushan Dufka donated a car to the National Guard of Ukraine, and also helped Ukrainian refugees who lived or still live in the city of Khomutov.
“A huge thank you to the Czech Republic, to everyone who provided shelter and jobs to Ukrainians. We would like the Czech Republic to invest in Ukrainian enterprises after our victory. This will be one of the biggest supports for us.
Your initiative regarding student internships is very important. After all, in order to receive a decent salary, employees must be professionals in their work. Therefore, this year vocational education is one of the priority areas of development of Lviv Oblast. This year alone, we plan to open more than 10 educational and practical centers. We are looking for partners to improve the material and technical base of vocational education institutions. That’s why we are open to cooperation,” Maksym Kozytskyi said.
For their part, the representatives of the Czech delegation thanked for the fact that Ukraine protects not only itself, not only the Czech Republic, but the whole of Europe.
“Thank you very much for the meeting, because all these projects are very important for the future,” added Khomutov Deputy Mayor Milan Mertz.
In the future, the mayors of the cities of Khomutov and Novy Rzidl also plan to sign a memorandum on cooperation between the cities.
