As of today, Lviv region is provided with electricity for 60-65% of the total need

The first deputy head of the Lviv OVA spoke about the energy situation in the region, the relocation of businesses and the construction of housing for IDPs.

“According to the limits introduced as of today, Lviv region is provided with electricity for 60-65% of the total need of the region. In connection with the specified limit, it is necessary to apply schedules of hourly outages. At the same time, together with the operator of the distribution system, we try as much as possible to keep the facilities of life support in populated areas alive, in particular, heating and water supply enterprises, as well as health care institutions, in order to create the most comfortable conditions, as well as to provide emergency medical assistance to the residents of Lviv Oblast” , — Andriy Godyk, the first deputy chief of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, said on the air of the Suspilne TV channel.

It was also about the relocation of enterprises. As of now, more than 230 business entities that moved to us from other regions are working in Lviv region. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 800 enterprises have been relocated to the Lviv region, but most of them have returned to their native settlements, because the active phase of hostilities has ended there.

“The number of enterprises that will remain in the region after the end of the war will depend on how long the active phase of hostilities will last in the regions from which they came. A lot of business has turned back after the shift of the front line, so it is extremely difficult to give an accurate forecast now. According to a preliminary analysis, more than 30% of relocated enterprises are ready to stay in Lviv region in the future,” said Andriy Godyk.

He also said that Lviv Oblast is the only region in Ukraine that still receives evacuation trains every day. In order for people who lost their homes to have a place to live for a long period of time, within the framework of the regional Program for the implementation of priority infrastructure projects, dormitories of vocational and technical education institutions, which were partially or not used at all, are being repaired. More than 150 million hryvnias have been allocated from the regional budget for the specified needs. After the end of the war, the renovated premises will serve the communities of the region.” – he added.
