Digitization of education in Lviv region continues: institutions create service accounts in the Action Portal

The Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Oblast continues active work on digitalization of the educational process in the region.

Currently, the services of the Action Portal are being implemented in educational institutions. This will help to overcome excessive bureaucracy and unnecessary paper document flow.

In particular, we are talking about three services of the Diya Portal: Service Account, Sharing and Diya.QR, which are aimed at exchanging digital documents and electronic copies.

The work is carried out in accordance with the instructions of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi dated August 22, 2023 No. 38/0/6-23BA and the letter of the Department of Digital Development of the Regional State Administration No. 37-150/0/23 dated August 23, 2023.

Therefore, responsible persons for “implementation of Diya Portal integration scenarios” should be identified in education management bodies and educational institutions.

At the first stage, each educational institution must create a Service Cabinet in the Diya Portal. In particular, it is necessary to develop a KEP – a qualified electronic signature. All procedures are detailed and explained.

“Digitalization will not escape anyone. This is a requirement of the times and modern technologies, which penetrate deeper and deeper into our lives. Therefore, I ask the heads of educational institutions to approach this task with all responsibility”, – emphasized the director of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration Oleg Paska.

The results of the preliminary monitoring showed that, as of today, in the Lviv region, 79% of all institutions of professional (vocational and technical) education and 62% of all general secondary schools of the region have submitted relevant data to the Diya Portal. For preschool education institutions, this figure is 33%.

Among the leaders are Lviv, Sambir, Stryi and Chervonograd districts.

“At the same time, there are such OTGs that have not even taken up this task, which was formulated almost two months ago,” added the Department of Education.

For reference:

A service account is a special version of the Action for authorization under the name of a company or institution, which allows you to check digital documents of customers.

An employee of the institution can enter the official account by reading a special QR code. Thus, the employee will receive the status of the document being checked.

ДИЯ-QR service is a convenient way to transfer copies of digital documents in Дия to the e-mail of a company/institution. The scenario is intended for small and medium-sized businesses, government institutions and other companies that do not have the capacity to configure integration with their own system.

Sharing – allows you to receive copies of digital documents of the user of the Diya application (individual) with his consent immediately into the organization’s system (configured through the integration of ARI).

In the process of sharing, the recipient of the data is provided with a digital copy of the e-document in pdf format (signed by the KEP of Action and with the date, time and name of the recipient of the data stamped), as well as metadata in JSON format with the relevant fields from the document.

Possible service usage scenarios:

☑ during the procedure of accepting a person to an educational institution

☑ identification of a person at the entrance to a school, lyceum, kindergarten

☑ for official use during recruitment/internship and other personnel activities

☑ obtaining copies of digital documents/personal identification during preparation for official events

☑ obtaining copies of documents when signing contracts/memorandums, making purchases

☑ obtaining copies of documents/personal identification for registration of a child in a camp, group

☑ for personal identification.
