The T-14-04 Chervonohrad – Rava-Ruska highway is of great strategic importance for Lviv region.
It connects the international checkpoints Uhryniv-Dolhobychuv and Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne. The overhaul of the road will help relieve the congestion on the alternative road M-09 Ternopil – Lviv – Rava-Ruska.
In addition, we will be able to provide the shortest route from the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne checkpoint in the direction of Volyn region,” the Lviv Oblast Road Service emphasized.
“In February, we resumed capital repairs at the Polish loan facility. We are currently working on the road surface, sidewalks, roadsides and exits. In addition, we are repairing the last two bridge crossings. Several road crews are working on the site simultaneously. This year, we plan to complete the repair and construction works in full on the 53-kilometer-long road from Chervonohrad to Rava-Ruska,” said Oleh Bereza, head of Lviv Road Reconstruction Service.
The road is being repaired with the help of the international project “Development of Border Road Infrastructure on the Approaches to the Ukrainian-Polish Border”. The Chervonohrad – Rava-Ruska road is the last object we are overhauling under this project. Earlier, we carried out major repairs of three border roads:
▪️ T-14-20 Yavoriv – Hrushev;
▪️ T-14-18 Nyzhankovychi – Sambir – Drohobych – Stryi on the Nyzhankovychi – Sambir section;
▪️ T-14-01 Smilnytsia – Staryi Sambir checkpoint on the Khyriv – Bunkovychi section.
