Last December, 9,316 internally displaced persons were accommodated in the private housing sector of Lviv Oblast.
Thus, the Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Economy of Lviv Oblast submitted an application for funding compensation for the costs of accommodation (stay) of IDPs in December 2023 in the amount of UAH 4,222,876.
We will remind that in November 2023, 9,570 internally displaced persons were placed in the private housing sector in the Lviv Region. The total amount of compensation to the owners of residential premises of the private housing fund, who accommodated internally displaced persons in these premises free of charge, amounted to 4,204,916 hryvnias for November 2023.
“It is worth noting that the owners of housing that have taken in internally displaced persons, in order to receive compensation, must provide correctly filled data to the local self-government bodies, because this will reduce the time needed to receive the specified compensation,” – emphasized the director of the department of the fuel and energy complex, energy efficiency and of housing and communal services of Lviv OVA Bohdan Keivan.
