It already contains information about 19 businesses founded by veterans or their relatives. However, the map will be constantly updated and new businesses will be added.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi urged people to use the map and support veteran businesses.
The Veteran Business Map was created by the Economic Development Department of the Lviv City Council to support and promote businesses founded by veterans. This interactive tool makes it easy to find veteran-owned businesses and get information about their services and products.
“The City Council actively supports the business of veterans and their families. We have already issued more than 80 voucher support certificates – up to UAH 300,000 each – for the development of veteran businesses. In this way, we help veterans adapt to peaceful life and at the same time strengthen the economy of our community.
The online map shows what types of business our veterans are developing. So when you are choosing a coffee shop, service or production facility, you can look at our map and support those who are fighting for our independence,” said Inna Svystun, Director of the Economic Development Department at Lviv City Council.
On the map, you can filter businesses by category: agribusiness, manufacturing, leisure, cafes and restaurants, services and trade. You can learn more about each business, with contact details, location, and links to their website or social media.
The map will be updated regularly to support new veteran initiatives.
Veteran entrepreneurs and their families are invited to fill out the form and click here to have your business placed on the map.
