The first deputy head of the Lviv OVA, Andriy Godyk, together with the deputy mayor for housing and communal services, Iryna Marunyak, checked the operation of one of Lviv’s water intakes on backup power sources and a pumping station.
The specified facilities of Lvivvodokanal LKP provide water supply to a large part of the city. Simulations of the absence of electricity supply to the above-mentioned facilities were carried out.

“According to the results of the inspection, the first deputy noted that all wells and pumps are connected to backup power sources. In addition, test starts of generators were carried out, which ensured the operation of the main equipment. The generators are there and connected, the staff understands the algorithm of actions in the event of an emergency, the supply of fuel and lubricants is sufficient,” he noted.
