On December 1, the executive committee of the Lviv City Council approved the decision “On the budget of the Lviv City Territorial Community for 2023”. It, in particular, took into account the proposals that arose after the discussion at the specialized deputy commissions. Further, the draft budget will be considered at the session of the LMR.
“On November 11, we brought up for consideration the main indicators of the general and special funds of the budget of the Lviv City Territorial Community for 2023. After that, we discussed them at meetings of all factions and commissions. There were a number of proposals, in fact, from deputy commissions for a total amount of over UAH 55 million. Therefore, today’s draft decision differs from the indicators that I reported on November 11, in fact, by the amount of these proposals. In particular, we took into account the redistribution of the mobility department, several more programs, including “Successful Teacher”, “Children’s Coach”, as well as the Digital Transformation Program. In addition, additional proposals to budget requests, adjusted from executive bodies, are taken into account.
In addition, I would like to remind you that we are allocating half a billion hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the National Resistance Program,” said the director of the financial policy department, Victoria Dovzhik.
Next, the draft budget should be approved at the session of the Lviv City Council scheduled for next week.
“We agreed to continue the work tomorrow at the budget commission, but already with the decision of the executive committee, taking into account the relevant deputy commissions. This will be a consolidated document, which will be brought up for consideration at the session of the City Council,” added Lviv First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko.
