A round table was held in Lviv on challenges for the economies of Ukraine and Lithuania in the context of the war

In addition to representatives of the authorities, the event also gathered entrepreneurs and members of business associations.

On March 3, the Lviv Palace of Arts hosted a round table on the topic “Challenges for the economies of Ukraine and Lithuania in the context of the war – let’s look for better economic solutions together”, which was initiated by the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine together with the Committee on Economic Affairs of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Kulepin, deputy head of Lviv, took part in the round table from Lviv OVA.

“The Lithuania-Ukraine dialogue has always been effective, because it is built on the principles of dignity, equality and partnership, which were, are and will be the foundation for the development of Lithuanian-Ukrainian relations. I am grateful to the Lithuanian people, who have become a reliable rear for Ukrainians since the beginning of the full-scale war. Thank you for all the help you gave to keep us going through the first year of the great war. Thank you for being here today, ready to share experience in reforms, and ready to establish new partnerships for the development of the economy of the two countries,” Oleksandr Kulepin emphasized.

The round table included several discussion panels, in particular, it was about the economic results of the war year in the context of the challenges and opportunities of cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania and the business approach, investment attraction, railway transportation between Ukraine and Lithuania, forest reform in the two countries, legal regulation of hunting, etc.

Among the speakers of the round table are Dmytro Natalukha, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Gintaras Paluckas, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economy of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, Valdemaras Sarapinas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine, Oleksandr Hryban, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Ruslan Strelets, Minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, representatives of regional and city authorities, members of business associations of Ukraine and Lithuania, entrepreneurs.
