During this week, 250 people listened to the lectures.
On November 21, as part of the “Listen to the Doctor” project, a lecture for schoolchildren was held in Lviv region, which was conducted by the candidate of medical sciences of LNMU named after Danyla Halytskoho, surgeon, mammologist – Nazar Kostyshyn. The lecture was devoted to neoplasms of the thyroid gland.
The next lecture on ovulation by the expert of the health care department of Lviv OVA, Olesya Pohodylo, an obstetrician-gynecologist with many years of experience, will take place on November 29. During the lecture, one of the important aspects of women’s health will be discussed – the work of the ovaries.
The lecture begins on November 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the health care department of the Lviv Regional Medical University (3 Konopnytska St., Lviv). We will remind you that “Listen to the doctor” is an educational project of the Lviv OVA, the purpose of which is to increase the level of public health and prevent the development of the most common diseases.
Within the scope of the project, schoolchildren have the opportunity to listen to lectures on the following topics:
- Prevention of cardiovascular diseases;
- First aid, injuries;
- Puberty;
- Mental health;
- Healthy Eating.
During this week, 250 people listened to the lectures in schools of Stryi district and Lviv. The total number of children covered during the two years of the project is 15,000.
